STA Photography Contest: Forests and Forest Landscapes of Sarawak
STA is thrilled to announce our very first photography contest themed “Forests and Forest Landscapes of Sarawak”. And we are calling for entries, inviting all avid photographers and nature lovers to share glimpses of Sarawak’s awe-inspiring, natural beauty captured through your lens.

This contest is open to the public and free of charge.

STA’s new online timber products trading system “iTS Timber” is now live!
“iTS Timber” – a convenient and easy-to-use e-platform exclusively built for STA members to trade logs and timber products in hand.
With a registered iTS Timber account, STA members will be able to gain instant and easy access to trade information on logs and timber products posted by other registered members on the e-platform. STA members can also take advantage of the latest contact information of traders and engage in trade activities.

Revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Wisma STA
The health and safety of all tenants and visitors of Wisma STA remain a top priority for the Association. For that purpose, we have revised the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in accordance to the latest advices and updates from the relevant authorities and health organisations. These included mandatory face mask rule which came into effect on 1 August 2020 as well as the compulsory usage of MySejahtera application to facilitate contact tracing processes.
Tenants and visitors of Wisma STA are reminded to follow the revised SOP and practise the highest personal hygiene standards at all times to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keeping everyone safe.

STA will cease the monthly publication of STA dan Rakan2 after the June 2020 issue (Issue 263). However, readers will still be able to get information on technical and training matters by reading the STA Review.
