Wisma STA, a 12-storey commercial/office building, situated at 26, Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim, Kuching, Sarawak occupying a land area of approximately 5,974 square meters reflects the contributions and achievements of the forest and timber industry in Sarawak. The building is located on a prime piece of land in a strategic and new business district of Kuching City and is close to various banks, hotels and shopping complexes. The international airport and government administrative offices of the city are also easily accessible from this neighborhood.

Wisma STA is managed by STA Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. (STAE), a subsidiary  company of Sarawak Timber Association incorporated on 30 March 1995. The Company commenced its operations in 1997 by undertaking the development of Wisma STA and subsequently to manage the building.

The foundation of Wisma STA was laid on 9 February 1998. On 15 October 2000, history was created with the symbolic moving of STA from its previous office that located at Wisma Sumber Alam, Petra Jaya, Kuching to Level 11 of Wisma STA.

On 27 March 2001, Wisma STA was officially declared open by the then Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Pehin Sri (Dr.) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.
